Much of our work involves the heavier chore of blowing soil mixtures. We do not blow 100% top soil because of the compacting that takes place in the truck, and the shear weight of the product. We do however successfully blow soil mixtures that include a percentage of compost and/or sand that's mixed with the top soil. Because of the compost, this mix actually helps the soil to germinate grass seed that can also be a part of our blowing mix. In fact, one of the greatest benefits to our process is what we call seed injection. While blowing a soil mixture we can apply a measured amount of grass seed or wild flower seed.

As depicted in the photo above and to your left, the seed is blown into the soil. Since typically this is 1/4 inch to 1/2 inch of product, the seed is perfectly mixed at the right depth.
